Sleeps 4, plus has space for 2 more on a bedsettee and space for a cot
Birch Cottage provides tranquil seclusion yet it is only minutes walk or drive from Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere. Standing within the grounds of Deloraine, an elegant Victorian country house, Birch Cottage was converted from a traditional Lakeland stone building into a lovely two-bedroom cottage with exposed timber beams.
Guests at Birch are often lucky enough to see deer, which love to browse on the lawn which the cottage's windows overlook. People willing to stay up might just be lucky enough to see a badger, which visit the gardens every night.
The large, open-plan living room and kitchen has recently been redecorated to a provide a charming and warm (underfloor heating is installed) atmosphere for your holiday.
Both bedrooms feature rustic oak timber beams, with the main bedroom having a four-poster bed and the second bedroom two single beds. Two additional sleeping places are provided by a convertible sofa-bed in the living room.
The stunning bespoke wetroom is decorated with Anatolian Travertine tiles and also features underfloor heating. Birch Cottage is ideal for families, the elderly, or just for couples who like to have space to really stretch out. There is also a private car park located to the rear of the cottage.
