By Train
The train station located in Windermere, is less than one mile away with connections to Kendal, Oxenholme and the main west coast lines to south England and Scotland.
By Car
Directions upon arrival in the Lake District:
From the South: Take the M6 until you reach junction 36, then take the A591 to Windermere. Now follow the A5074 through Windermere town until you reach Bowness village. Look out for the large Lakeland shop on your left hand side, turn there up Helm Road, go past the Hydro hotel. Continue ahead up the hill do not turn anywhere. At the top of the road, continue ahead on the private road, You will come to a fork in the road take the right hand road and continue ahead a sort distance and Deloraine Holiday Homes is the first entrance gate on the left. Please park, and then call at the veranda door when you arrive.
From the North: Route one, take the M6 until you reach junction 38, then take the A591 to Windermere. Now follow the A5074 down through Windermere town until you reach Bowness village.
